Welcome to the book club

Welcome to the book club

Good morning or good evening readers, it depends on where are you now and what time you are reading this blog.

Welcome to the book club where once a month I will be posting a review of the book that you chose for me to read.

Only for the first month, I will decide which book I will review, but the next months you will be the one to choose! (by leaving a comment down below or voting on a poll on my Instagram story @book_wanderlust that I will keep reposting for one week). Obviously, we wish to have also a lot of book and themes recommendations from you in the comment section or on our Instagram account.

I hope that this book club won’t turn into a boring one.

By using this platform, everyone who wants to join this book club can do it freely all around the world.

Noooooow to the pick of the month of November!

I choose a young adult fantasy fiction that everyone seems to love. It is a series and the second book is expected to be published in 2018. The book I chose is…

For the month of December, our theme will be “SECRETS” and the two books to vote are…

one of us is lying
One of us is lying by Karen M. Mcmanus

Pay close attention and you might solve this.
On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention.
Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule.
Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.
Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.
Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.
And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High’s notorious gossip app.

Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention Simon’s dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn’t an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he’d planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who’s still on the loose?

Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.

the winner's curse
The winner’s curse by Marie Rutkoski

They were never meant to be together. As a general’s daughter, seventeen-year-old Kestrel enjoys an extravagant and privileged life. Arin has nothing but the clothes on his back. Then Kestrel makes an impulsive decision that binds Arin to her. Though they try to fight it, they can’t help but fall in love. In order to be together, they must betray their people . . . but to be loyal to their country, they must betray each other.

Set in a new world, The Winner’s Curse is a story of rebellion, duels, ballroom dances, wicked rumors, dirty secrets, and games where everything is at stake, and the gamble is whether you will keep your head or lose your heart.
