My 2019 goals

And after a long festivity period here we are going back to reality, once again!

So here I am to tell you every single goal I set for myself in 2019!

Just a quick disclaimer, I didn’t set my goal because I agree with the “new year, new me”, I always set the end of the year as my deadline for my steps to my bigger goals!

Get ready because I am starting with my list!

  • Exercise and walk more

This is a goal that will always be present. It is one of the most important one and I hope everyone agrees that this is not because you need to look like a certain way, but because you need to be healthy! I am currently doing cardio 3 times a week and trying to use the stairs as often as I can!

  • Focus on my blog

This was always a big fail since I started.

No one ever told me it will take me so much time to create a blog post! I always thought “it takes few minutes to read, so it will take the same amount of time just to create it”. NO NO NO! You need pictures, ideas, write…. But I love doing it so much! And this year I want to do more of the things I love!

  • Do something new every month

This is an interesting one! A friend and I, decided to try different types of activities. We started in december with Burlesque, but don’t worry guys! We will always update you with our thoughts about the activities and give you also the details of where we’ve been 🙂

  • Dress up

In my new job, we always use uniforms. So in the mornings I think less about what I am going to wear as “no one is going to see it”.

Unfortunately, I had so many last minutes “events” and I have never been ready.

So this year, I need to be ready for everything and feel good about myself!

  • Clean up my eating habits

This is a special one after the holidays and also for people like me that needs to meal prep. I spent so much money on food, just because I didn’t have time to prepare food, and the biggest mistake we all do, is to order some fast food or delivery!

Cleaning up my eating habits, will also save me so much money!

  • Read my top 5 books

Yes yes yes! Books are the love of my life!

My reading list is a never ending one, but everyone has the top 5 must read. Here is mine:

  • The magic of thinking big by David J. Schwartz
  • The 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey
  • Sapiens: a brief history of humankind by Yuval Noah Harari
  • Ikigai: the japanese secret to a long and happy life by Albert Liebermann and Hector Garcia
  • The power of now by Eckhart Tolle

That’s it!

That’s all I would like to achieve this year 🙂

And I am so excited to see all of these goals ticked in my agenda and set up new goals for the year after!

  1. Love reading other people’s goals! for me the beginning of a year is reset button and time to re energize. Sometimes it will not be easy, like you I also want to work on my blog, and it will take time and dedication. Most of all motivation! Have a happy 2019.

    1. oh Monica! I feel you! I am spending all the weekends writing and taking pictures! Maybe we can have a colab together? 🙂
