My 2017 wrap up!

My 2017 wrap up!

I can’t believe it is already the end of the year!

In this post, I will answer some questions about the books I read this year and at the end, you can find a complete list of all of them.

I just want to send my special thank you to all the booktube community especially to:

because of these channels, I started to love reading again and they are the main inspiration that made me start this blog.

My reading goal this year was of 24 books, but I am more than proud of the result: I read 29 books this year!

Well, let’s start with the questions!

What’s the best book you read in 2017?

On the shortness of life by Seneca. This book is absolutely a book to read that makes you think.

What’s the best sequel?

Absolutely Catching fire, didn’t expect to like it but oh well… it happened! The ending of all the series though, it was just a disappointment.

The biggest disappointment?

With no doubt, it was The rose and the dagger. The first book kept all of my attention, while the second one was just really slow paced and boring.

The biggest surprise?

Eragon, I thought that would be the worse book I would ever read, but Christopher Paolini’s style of writing is just a dream!

A book that made you cry?

I am an easy crier and almost all of the books made me cry.

A book that made you happy?

Choose yourself is a really light read but has a lot of meaning and a lot of positive thoughts.

Most beautiful book cover?

Big magic!!!

Books I’m hoping to finish by the end of the year?

Anna Karenina the story is beautiful but it the book is extremely long and I found myself needing a lot of breaks in between.
