Welcome back readers!

Here is the second book of the challenge! I can’t believe we are at the end of January and we already read two books.

The second book, as we announced on this post,Β is ‘The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do In Life and Business’ by Charles Duhigg.

This book explains why habits exist and how they can be changed. It does that by using real-life events that occurred in big companies such as Starbucks, to the sidelines of the NFL and during the civil rights movement, as examples.

The main concept of this book is that the key to exercising regularly, losing weight, being more productive and achieving success is understanding how habits work. By doing this we can transform our businesses, our communities and our lives.

I gave this book β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜†!

Let me say this before,

self-help books are really not my genre.

I was very skeptical about reading it and I felt forced to read it because I didn’t want to lose the challenge. But after a couple of chapters, I began to like it.

It was really unexpected and it made me think about my habits, how to change the bad ones in order to make my life better.

If the author will release in the future another book, I will definitely read it and if you guys know any similar books, please let me know!

My favorite quote from the book is:

The Golden Rule of Habit Change: You can’t extinguish a bad habit, you can only change it.

This book is a β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…!!!

I looooveΒ these types of books, where you can take inspirations and learn from them!

It was absolutely interesting and, even if it is not a fiction, it made me stay and read more and more.

LOVED IT!

My favorite quote is:

Not sharing an opportunity to learn is a cardinal sin.

Ok, are you ready guys to know the third book of the #26weekreadingchallenge2018? Drum roll, please!

Thank you, Bart!

The third book is an LGBT one and we chose ‘Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda’ by Becky Albertalli.

It was on our TBR list for a long time and finally, we have a chance to read it!

This is it, guys! Hope you are enjoying the challenge as much as we are!
